Welcome

Welcome to the website of St James, Bramley.  We hope you will find it helpful and informative, and would be delighted to welcome you to come and worship God with us on a Sunday.

To find the church with a SatNav, use the postcode RG26 5DF.

We meet every Sunday for our services in Cross House at 9:00am and St James Church at 10:30am. We hope very much you’ll come and join us.

The church is also open for private prayer each day between 10am and 3pm and on Sundays following the church service until 3pm.  Please do feel free to come in and spend a little while praying and reflecting on God’s goodness.

Lent Groups

Tuesdays at 10am – a women’s group during Lent when we will be using a book by Paula Gooder looking at the women of Holy Week with bible study, discussion and prayer. You do not need to attend every week and are welcome to come to as many sessions as you wish. Contact us for more details.

Thursdays at 8pm – All are welcome to join us to study the Bible to learn some of the Christian disciplines which help us to draw closer to God during Lent, e.g. prayer, solitude, simplicity. Other Churches in our Benefice

Our parish of Bramley and Little London is part of a group of parishes known as a Benefice. We work together, sharing resources and helping one another out when needed, while also retaining our individual styles and preferences as we worship the living God.

These are the other churches in our Benefice:

  • St Leonard’s Church, Sherfield on Loddon
  • St Mary the Virgin, Hartley Westpall
  • St Mary the Virgin, Stratfield Saye

We would advise you to contact the relevant church for their opening and service times.  All churches are now holding services and you should check the websites of each of the Churches above for more details if you wish to join them.
