Cross House is once again able to take bookings for limited activities as allowed under current Government rules. As these rules are further amended, we will be happy to take bookings. As we reopen, this will be for specific businesses and people that can operate in a safe way in accordance with the guidance related to COVID-19. Risk Assessments will be required for all users, and new Terms and Conditions will apply. Please contact Steve Day for further information. This will be restrictive for certain groups and some classes can no longer operate under the current rules, until restrictions are lifted again.
In the grounds of the church, there is a modern church hall, Cross House, which is available for people to hire for their own events. There is a large ground-floor hall, suitable for parties and concerts, with an adjoining kitchen. Cross House also has several meeting rooms, large and small, both upstairs and downstairs.
Cross House was built in 1994 with the help of a bequest from a very dedicated former Sunday School teacher, Miss Ella Tubbs. We thank God for her generosity and commitment to the church.
The indicative charges for renting rooms in Cross House are as follows:
Main hall: £16 for one hour, (hourly rate reduces for longer periods)
Kitchen: £10 per session
Meeting rooms: £12 for one hour, (hourly rate reduces for longer periods)

There are no extra charges, but a deposit is payable. Cross House has a Music Licence which covers the use of recorded music in the building. We ask hirers to clear up after their event, and to ensure the premises are left clean, tidy and secure.
